 Creativity is a gift that shines brighter than any diamond I have ever seen. I was leaving a comment on a friend's social media post when I stumbled upon this lyrically blessed genius. His response was far from ordinary and I knew he had a story to be told. Rhythmic, poetic, musically inclined, and gifted. I am excited to share his story with all of you, so without further delay, I introduce, Verso Turner! ◆ How are you doing on this amazing day? I'm great, but communicate better in rhyme so I'll answer every question as a poem of mine ya see, we all gotta talk the way that God had us designed instead of formulating sentences... this poem is mines ◆ Writers are known for having thoughts at any given time. When do you have your best ideas? After I meditate, or listen to music or talk to my spouse, she is someone I can muse wit or any day that I pray and speak to that higher power writing now takes a minute when it used to take an hour ◆ If you had to give a title to the blueprint of your life, what would it be called? Life Path No. 9
◆ Other than writing, tell us what else you love that gets your heart pumping. My main passion is solving reality exploring the nature of spirit and distant galaxies I like exploring and learning I love to hang with my fam I'm all about esoteric knowledge I wanna know what I am ◆The writing community is a huge network of authors, creators and so much more, do you ever feel pressured to perform based on what others are doing? not really cuz they hate you when you different they hate on your indifference they hate you when you shifting from here onto new dimensions I swear usually, I live unusually don't conform, I'm just doing me cuz in all us is jewelry that is the same, but the same truthfully
◆ You are given free plane tickets to go anywhere in the world, where would you go? Tanzania, Africa so I can take my wife home after that, Mt Shasta California so I can find UFOs (I'm weird, I know) ◆ In your opinion, what truly defines a writer? Nothing truly defines us cause titles can sit behind us you'd have to be us to understand you couldn't simply rewind us I think our true selves are inconceivable and so is the truth everyone would have to be silent I couldn't say a thing to you but the attempt to take the divine and try and put those in words is the closest untrue definition I ever heard so if we picking, I pick that but like it's a fact just more that it's a shadow and I'm ok with that ◆ How many published books do you have and what are you working on next? I've never been published, never sought it before we'll see in the future I'm just here expressing myself so my death don't come sooner I got an album I'm working on cuz I put my writtens to cadence I hope to share my art, with any heart that find it amazing or just entertaining "Creativity is contagious, pass it on" -Albert Einstein ◆ If you could go in reverse, what would you tell the young Verso Turner? If I had a time machine I'd ride the thing To when I was a tike Just to school myself And give myself an even better life I'd tell the younger me the dreams l had and hungered for Ain't really what I got But can come true If I want it more Cause it ain't gonna fall in your lap like that You wonder why labels ain't calling you back? But if you get off of your crack perhaps You won't be trapped like a rat How simple is that? Real simple in fact It's math divide it Even substract Get past the path Of talking just trash Don't sit in the lab just letting time past Get up get out and get something Don't settle for nothing Have enough sense to function Be abrupt kid Put down the Teddy Rumpskin Pick up the pen Forget those crabs in the bucket Down on your luck? So what keep trucking just be yourself ok? you gotta seize the day just keep it moving, watch all your friends will imitate now let's reiterate your soul can generate a language that can cross a generation gap it's been that way time waits for no man that ain't no omen see it's just a slogan meaningless when you are chosen see cause when you're chosen it's time that moves too slow that it seems the future's open let me grab my pen rewrite HIS-story/history literally and figuratively I crossed that twist out wrote in comic sans that's what I'm always talking about I ain't taking no bows because the curtains ain't down the show will go on indefinitely long as someone's in the crowd The taste is sour like kraut defeat I know something of it that's why I know how to win I felt the pain when I wasn't that will not happen again some of you think nothing of it I do all that I can to hit the ground and start running comets scorch when they plummit on our way to the summit... but none of that really matters today because... I locked the old me in a TRUNK I dragged it out the house and I put it in a TRUCK I drove it out of town even stopped to fill it UP you could hear him crying in the back, man that night was ROUGH I took him to a river that I felt was deep ENOUGH he begged me for his life yelling “this is 'UCKED UP” We argued for a while, and he said a lot of STUFF I said “Man I’d hate to be you you ain’t gonna make it BRUH” think about it you always held me back you’re such a coward under your direction we kept living by the hour you never had a plan you only planned to keep us down” he said “we can work it out” I said “I really don’t see how or you You can try and get away before I throw you off this place” He screamed “look me in my face, how can you throw yourself away?!" I just smiled and said 'I don’t need you that was yesterday I’m on to bigger better things, I need you out of my way' so I can confess I confess I will testify I had to do it had to do it it was jest- ified (haha) I’m joking I was choking on his mediocre bullshhhhh gloves come off and these punches I won’t pull shhhhh ◆ Where do you pull your inspiration from?
